Kvinna till Kvinna is looking for a Consortium Coordinator based in Brussels.
The Kvinna till Kvinna Foundation has defended women’s rights since 1993. For every woman’s right to be safe and to be heard. Today we are one of the world’s leading women’s rights organisations, working directly in areas affected by war and conflict to strengthen women’s influence and power. We work closely together with over 150 local partner organisations across 20 countries.
Kvinna till Kvinna will form a consortium together with the International Civil Society Action Network (ICAN), CMI Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation and Conciliation Resources (CR) to implement a global Women Peace and Security (WPS) Programme. This programme is part of a strategic partnership with the EU Foreign Policy Instrument (FPI).
About the position
As the Consortium Coordinator, you will be based in Brussels and be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and monitoring of the programme. You will coordinate and support the consortium and represent the programme in engagement with the EU and other stakeholders.
Your responsibilities will include:
Strategic programme management
Ensuring effective implementation of the programme in line with the approved proposal, donor rules and regulations.
Coordinating consortium members and country teams, including operational and financial planning, budget monitoring and high-quality donor reporting.
Establishing clear results frameworks, measurable outputs, milestones and monitoring systems aligned with project requirements.
Policy, advocacy and representation
Leading the development and coordination of the consortium’s advocacy, communication and visibility strategy.
Leading engagement with the EU on women, peace and security, shrinking civic space and human security, including relevant geographical areas.
Representing the consortium and Kvinna till Kvinna in Brussels and in relevant NGO networks, and supporting partners in advocacy engagement with EU institutions.
Consortium coordination and oversight
Managing and facilitating effective consortium coordination, learning and steering mechanisms.
Ensuring overall financial oversight in collaboration with finance and grants teams and troubleshooting implementation challenges with partners.
Ensuring compliance with security procedures and organisational policies.

Qualifications
Degree in an appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
At least 7 years of proven experience in successfully managing and implementing projects or programmes.
Excellent knowledge and experience of project cycle management, including PMEL, reporting and financial management.
Strong knowledge of women’s human rights, peacebuilding and feminist movement building, demonstrated through a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
Proven track record of engaging with the EU and other international bodies.
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong coordination skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Merits
Programme management experience including finance within the field of women’s rights.
Experience in consortium coordination.
Experience in partnership management.
Fluency in Arabic and or French.
Terms and conditions of employment
The position is based in Brussels. The start date is as soon as possible and the contract runs until end of September 2029.
We offer a hybrid work arrangement, allowing up to 50% remote work. The work is goal-oriented, with an average weekly workload of 37.5 hours. We offer wellness time during working hours and wellness allowance.
