What we offer
At Kvinna till Kvinna you will have the chance to deepen your knowledge of international development work as well as gain valuable insight in the daily operations of the editorial staff at a communications department. You will also contribute to raising awareness and engagement for the work for women’s rights in war- and conflict-affected areas of the world.
About the internship
You will take part in the day-to-day work of the editorial & marketing team — with a designated supervisor — and join in on the weekly editorial meetings.
- support in background research and content creation for social media and website
- support in monitoring and moderating Kvinna till Kvinna’s social media accounts
- administration of our image bank (sorting, tagging and uploading imagery to our database)
We believe that you are self-driven, solution oriented and creative. You enjoy working in a team and have a genuine interest for communication and social media. If you are passionate about development & sharing your learnings—then you’ve come to the right team!
You need to have
- studies in marketing, communications, journalism—or other relevant educational background with a strong interest in communications
- good writing & visual communication skills
- good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish
- good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Adobe Creative Cloud skills
- social media skills
Terms & conditions
The internship is unpaid, on a full-time basis and covers 20 weeks, the spring semester of 2022.
We prefer that you are a looking for an internship as part of your current studies where you receive reimbursement from CSN or other government funds. If this does not apply to you, you need to mention how your internship is funded.
We will sign an internship agreement and you will have insurance for the duration of your internship.
The internship is based at the head office in Stockholm; however, at the moment, we combine office work with working remotely and may change our routines in line with any new recommendations from the Public Health Agency of Sweden.
Due to the nature of our work only women (legal and/or self-identified) applicants will be considered. Otherwise, we strive for diversity.
